  1. I ended up getting 6619. I'll pop them in when I'm ready to tune.
  2. You're wrong if you think its going to be a simple repair, so I'll let you go down that path. GLWS OsO.
  3. This is just a block IMHO. If you kid yourself and think it just needs bearings, and 2 sleeves/pistons/ring sets...you're ready to have a world of hurt put on you. Either way, I'm interested in this if the OP responds. I've got the means to fix this and I'm local to him.
  4. How about a straight up trade shortblock for shortblock. Freshened 6.1 block, stock bore. New bearings, cut .010/.010 crank, factory rings opened up to non ring land shattering specs and a 219/227 112 cam. 1 hour of runtime. I'd keep the oil pan, heads, intake and timing cover.
  5. I've got a set of used stock heat range plugs in my 5.7 heads. I'm tuning it now, so I'd like to get a set of fresh plugs into it. It's a stock block 6.1, just refreshed and opened top ring gaps. 219/227 112 cam Ported 5.7 Eagles, 9.2:1/11.5:1 compression Stock 6.1 intake with SRT4 Stage 1 injectors and a 460lph pump TTI headers Planning on running 93 with a sedate timing curve. Should I go with NGK ILZFR6D11 (Stock #1208) for 1 step colder or NGK LFR6AIX-11 (Stock #6619) for a two step colder plug?
  6. I'd put another factory pump on it. Was it in a factory box? Could have been the Chinese copy with a shitty bearing in it...
  7. It's been a year since I posted anything. Work has had me moving around a ton with travel, so I really haven't worked on it until the last month. So here's a youtube video of it running... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dRSM8SGuBM Almost ready to put tags back on it and try not to wreck it.
  8. Ok. That explains the bushing I need.
  9. What size is the threaded port on the water pump? I need to get an adapter bushing and can't figure out if it's 1/4 or 5/16. I'm trying to put my innovate 1/8 npt sending unit in that port.
  10. Howards 6.251 .927 pin rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts. Never run, been sitting in the case since new. $750 shipped in the 48
  11. I'm looking for a quality cold air intake. No plastic tubes, it's going on my old car and metal will look better Let me know what you have!
  12. Not off the top of my head, but whatever a 6.1 wheel is. He will set this system up for whatever tooth count you want in the base tune. This same basic box will also work with an ls, but he sells it as a different kit.
  13. An aftermarket replacement 6.1 reluctor wheel in the factory location on a factory 6.1 crank. This is the most polished harness and computer in the megasquirt line up. It's a few wire hook up, it's running with a ground, constant 12v, switched 12v (that stays on during cranking) and an input from my wideband. That's it. Couldn't have been easier.
