  1. I feel like Linus and the cloud following me He check the length of the guide on last rebuild and he said he check one head and all seamed fine so he never checked the other. I can see where that would be something people would do. Either way it sucks. The last go around with oil was the oil control ring jumped out and scored the cylinder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Valve seals got beat to hell Gotta cut down the valve guides. One head the exhaust guides was .125 taller than the other head ( factory guides ) Seals was hitting the bottom of the retainer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You have to change the whole number / rear end housing from what I have read. I looked into this once Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No they won't you have to change the whole backend and it clips on in different spots Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I know this is a stupid thing. The bolts u have for your valve covers. Do you have any idea what the part number is. I have a 09 That has threaded studs similar and it is a bitch to put them on as clearance is at a premium. Thanks Chris Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Leave it alone. And either get a cat or keep it and leave it be. I have 25.000 in my 09 and it has been nothing but a huge pain in the a$$ since I decided to go down the road. If you can afford the car do it. Drive the hell out of it and have fun. Mine is not fun. I have the heads off again for the 3rd time oh this go around on the rebuild has just shy of 450 miles on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. is there enough room to pull the heads with the long tube headers on a challenger?

  15. for anyone interested i called and the guy said he can do your existing pulley shipped back for 90bucks. I may go that route as i DO NOT want to fight with belt alignment issues after i have gotten everything figured out. and i have no idea if his pulleys are the same backspacing or not.
