JDW RT 09 posted a topic in ChallengerFest 5After 5 passes today I broke an axle as did another 6 speeder, Ray (hemiorangert) Burleson aka Concussion from Billet Tech steps up and offers us his backups for nothing. One for my driver side axle and the passenger side for the other car that broke an axle. Lucky break! He took himself out of the racing and shootouts before it started to give us his backup parts. Then AJ aka Hemituner from Arrington goes to wrenching and swaps out both of our axles before having to jump a plane home. You couldnt ask for people with any better character than these two guys. Big props to these guys and their companies for stepping up and getting us back home. New axles were days and states away. Also thanks to Dale aka Hemi57 for helping to locate the parts, Alan (Goehner's bud) for helping with the wrenching, chuck aka Bayou Tiger, Lakey and several others i dont know for loaning tools, impact wrenches, jackstands, etc to get the job done. Great sponsors, great people all around. Great event.
