They said "laid off." Either way, its a burden that I am very happy not to bare any longer. ;)

Well then, Merrrry Christmas to you too.

Man oh man, I thought Barney only got to carry one bullet in his gun to shoot himself in the foot with, sound like he's got all the chambers loaded now. Hahaha

Oh, I think they have shot all the toes off, next is amputation at the knee.....sad.

Seriously, I hate to see this happening as there are some really good people still at Arrington.  Chris Gardner built me one hell of an engine that Aj spec'd.  I hope they get the ship righted very quickly and those that are no longer there find themselves in a good place also very quickly.

There has always been a ton of talent there, no argument there Guy. The problem was always management. Out of respect for my friendship with AJ, I never spoke out publicly about the fn I took with them selling my products. Probably the funniest aspect to the situation was despite my issues with accounts playable, I still highly recommended their short blocks and sold a few of them over the last few years indirectly.. lol.

Correction: Chris Gardner did not build your engine.

I build every engine that leaves that shop. I take pride in my work. Like Buckeye said, there are a lot of good people there. We do not manage the business, we just do our job to the best of our ability. Good luck to everyone who has left, I know you will do well.

Exactly what I have thought all along, I know there are some very talented people still at API but always thought the issues there were management.
