I looked at the Driveshaft on one at the dealership that was on the rack that had the front spoiler damaged when it was off loaded from the delivery truck. The Driveshaft is EXTREMELY small in diameter. 2-2.5 inches around ; I'd guess.

Probably ran the driveshaft low on fluid !

"and a new driveshaft with high-strength CV joints; both driveshafts and half-shafts have new lubricants for higher-speed operation."

Take it for what it is, we can dispute it all day long and not learn shit. Fact is we have a PRODUCTION Dodge in the 10's. This hasn't happened but only once in the history of Mopar, 1968 with the SS/AA Hemi A-bodies. Difference is these Hellcat's can get 20+MPG and have fuckin interiors nicer than most peoples furniture. Its a good time to be a Mopar fan.

I'm waiting on Frank. He knows I want one. Hopefully he will have them ready soon.

Funny how the 08-2010 never really broke even with Boost and juice on them.

I'll call frank right now and see what's up.

It has not been the CV joints that fail, it has been the shaft (tube) that fails.  They need to beef it up!

Gonna have to be better material for the tube. There's very little clearance to make any larger diameter.
