On a mustang? 395-410 rwhp. With all the work why did you choose a littleboy cam?[/quote

Went with it based on recommendation from my builder. He's had good results with it. Just cam / manifold made 412/412 on a dynojet. Adding tubes and heads should net me another 30-40 hp I hope. I don't have access to the dynojet that we made our last pulls on. Not sure how to interpret gains on the Mustang dyno

I would be shocked to see 30-40 from tubes and heads, especially without a substantial cam. the stock heads and shorties are pretty damn good. and I would think are adequate until you get into a biggish cam or power adder.

Of course little cam = easy tuning.

30-40 yes.....which means on a mustang my numbers will be close. I would have at least gone with a scud at 219/223.

a good set of heads will get you 30 on a stock 6.1. Curious who the builder is. BTW OP, did you get the cam used?

So.... have been trying to figure out what 426rwhp on a Mustang dyno = for crank HP.

When I asked the shop that did the dyno, they pulled off the computer that it equaled 530 crank HP.  That seems high.

Anyone feel like throwing their $.02 in?
