My First Build Need Help

I have a complete spare motor 5.7 2005 60 000miles

-I read stock stroke is the best for boost  it's true ? because I'm not sure 5.7 forged or 5.7 stroked 392...

- ported head worth  money with boost  or thitek have a good difference ?

-with eagle intake manifold it have a max PSI ?

good feedback  CP piston , manley , molnar , k1 ...

thx for your help !

Well some of the answers to your questions depend on how much power you want to make. I would say no more than 12 psi on the composite manifold. I would deff recommend a 6.1 intake.....makes better power and easier to tune

3.79 or 3.8 stroke max for blowers is the norm safe stroke for 5.7s.

Intake is choice but 6.1 is common. Drag pack will work to but your limitations are not listed..so...

Ported heads make more power to allow lower boost numbers but power is power. Cylinder pressure is more a concern with stock casting heads. Thiteks will allow better sealing of heads than stock due to better metal material and thicker decks. Also allow bigger cam and double valve springs and flow.
