A Serious Thanks

I have to throw out a huge THANK YOU!! to AJ. After I went through the nightmare of tearing my car apart to change out the heads and associated things to recover from a broken valve spring and valve, piston and so on, I needed to find someone who could tune this beast. I had been using someone local and he did a good job but I was trying to get the car done and he had no openings for over 2 months and that wouldn't work. AJ was able to get me in, work through the mess my car was and finally put a good tune on it. At first the car drove strangely to me and I just was uncomfortable with but a fellow owner set me straight. Now, I love it. I have a car that is comfortable in two worlds, street and track.

This last weekend I drove pretty much the length of the NJ Turnpike and a good deal was done at 80mph, at times up 100, and a bit at 120. The car ran easily like it was doing 60. The mpg was awesome, rpm's as well. At 80 the mpg average was at 17.8 to 18. at 100 it was 18.1-18.2mpg! All the while loafing along at 1800-1900 rpm's! Not too shabby for a bored and stroked 426 with a maggie on top!
