You would be shocked as to who was and wasnt involved in the rules discussion this year :)

Nice and simple, do whatever you want to the car. Give me a little credit Lakey.

There was no need to change it from heads-up to index.  I would like to know what this shock is of who was championing the change to index and why.  I think the class was fine as it was.

It's heads up, nobody can obtain 8.0 yet. This keeps it simple, no issues with what car has what mods. Get there how you want. This removes all drama and the same model has worked great across all the other classes over the past couple years.

Trust me, the class index will change nothing in 2016.

If nothing will change then why did you feel compelled to change it? And what drama? There is no drama in super pro rules. The rules are very simple.

Dan you know I have a ton of respect for you and all the work you do, but you whiffed on this one. The people who run super pro do so because they want to run all out.

Am I slowing them down?

Old rules were very restrictive especially with the pcm and chassis rules. Those are all gone.

You are missing the point, simplicity. You don't hear the bullshit whereas I do. So once again I'm here listening to it.

You will not be affected as your car is slower than 8.0.

New rules only ask that you be licensed for the class ET.

If I listened to everyone your car would have been bumped to unlimited. I chose to keep it where everyone can race rather than have to listen to who is doing what.

Unlimited class was a fail and I cannot in good faith ask a sponsor to support it. I gave away $1000 at the fall VMP event to a single car in the class. Just not what we are about. Now that car would race with everyone else, go big or stay home.

9.0 cars got some work to do, a lot of it!

As far as rules in super pro Dan are you saying your car/jeep needs to be "Etown" legal to run based on et?

All we are asking is that you have an NHRA license which is easier to get now.

Up to the track on everything else.
