Damn wish I could have made it this year, made it last year w my car group (ACLX) and it was pretty cool. Agreed about the track prep, but it is what it is.

The actual event is really well put together. Lots of credit goes to those who put it together. Please don't mistake my comments about track prep as unhappy with the rest of the event. They always do a great job putting it together. I think it would not take too much money if the faster guys would pitch in a little and pay for some actual track prep

The event itself is great ! Track prep is definitely poor at best. Why not raise the entry fee to $45-60 to cover the track prep ?

The fee was $70 this year compared to $25 last year. $35 to register as a participant and another $35 for a tech card. The prep is weak and also add all of the street tires, it makes for a skating rink. At least it didn't rain this year

Had to work this year and couldn't make it, but I would suggest that they run all of the novices and the street tire cars, THEN prep the track and let the slick tire cars run.  Also would need volunteers who know how to prep a track and can bring the right equipment.  I'd pay extra for that......
