Twin Throttle Body Maggie

Just saw where the new Magnuson TVS2650 supercharger will have the option of using twin throttle bodies, I don't see room under the hood to make this work for us.  Think this will be available to us and at what power level would this be needed?

Positive displacement blowers hate inlet restriction so any improvement is worth it. That blower is a high output option for the Hellcat. I might have a nice home for something like that...

Is there a benefit of two 90mm over a single 180mm?

Curious how they'll get the computer to play nice with a dual setup.

FYI, a single 180mm has 2x the area of 2 90mm throttle bodies.

Using area = pi*(r*r):

For 180mm: pi*(90mm * 90mm) = 25,446.9 mm^2

For single 90mm: pi*(45mm * 45mm) = 6361.725 mm^2

For two 90mm: 2 * pi*(45mm * 45mm) = 12,723.45 mm^2

I talked to the Maggy guys at SEMA, the whole set up is brand new and untested.  Everything right now is just theory, and we all know how that works.

Well if anyone here wants to buy one.  I have the controller for running dual TB's.  I've heard the new PCM's have drivers capable of running two TB's but don't know for sure.  I know it took me some time to figure out how to make it work.  :)

Why would you want that waffle maker over a Whipple 4.5L is my question.

Wouldn't be my choice, that's fur sure

because it LOOKS COOL lol

guarantee people would by it just for that reason.. and OH it has twin throttle bodys it HAS TO MAKE MORE POWER.

Well my car made 30/30 across the board more with twin 60's verses a single 80. There's a lot to be said about the decrease in restriction specially on a PD unit.

All I got from that is the guys not sure how to proceed here. And wtf is with using another motor. Did they already grenade the stock one?

We learned a ton on building low life's 4.6 kb. And all of it was hard fought with a shit ton of custom pieces I made to make everything fit so good luck to this guy.
