5.7 Vs 6.1 Block With Boost ??

what is the best with boost (vortech V7 YSI 20+ psi )  5.7 vs 6.1

-The 5.7 block has thicker cylinder walls than the 6.1 block has ??
-The 5.7 block has a stronger main web design than the 6.1 ??

Depending on the cubic inch i dont think you would have any problem with a 6.1 based 392 or maybe just a bit bigger like a 406 - 408. Ed`s car was a 6.1 based 392 made a 1000 RWHP........never had any cylinder wall problem, it`s keeping the heads down at 20+

We've put 20+ to 5.7's, 6.1's and 6.4's without issue. All make over 1000whp. As Don mentioned make sure you have a good head seal. If you are sticking with the 5.7 I recommend Thitek heads for higher boost clamping/sealing.
