Weather is looking iffy for Saturday and Sunday.

Call me before you head this way to make sure we are still on.

Weather looks like it is going to hold out for the race. Forecast is for showers late afternoon and evening. The night race looks to be washed out as well as Sunday's race.

Weather was fine, very humid but cool and no rain.  This was my 1st time to this event.  It was very well run.  Even though car counts were a little low in some divisions, they still paid out full prize money, which some places don't do.

Didn't see many vehicles in show and shine, those that were there were impressive.  Probably the threat of bad weather kept a lot away.

Well chit... $500 better than nothing. So now your only $xxx, xxx dollars in the hole. lmao :o

Winner got $1,000.  Can't put a price tag on the fun I'm having!

One of the best moments of the day was when the wife thought I'd lost the semifinals.  We both turned it red, but he was worse so I got the automatic win as long as I didn't cross the center line.  The wife was filming from behind and only saw my red light.  She took a long time to get back to the trailer where I was in a great mood.  I let out a whoop and went to high five her, which confused the hell out of her!  The look on her face when I showed her the time slip was priceless!!

Yup... Fun factor is priceless. Took the Vette to Little River again with Covette club. Car runs a consistent 12.44. Will sign-up for the shoot out the next time I go.

It was a low car count but they had 130 tech cards. Several guys running multiple classes. Weather threat scared a bunch of people away. I stuck around for the TOPMA qualifying and watched Gaylen Smith run a 3.78 in his 57 Chevy. I left after that round.

Yeah, people were pulling some pretty serious looking shit out of their huge ass trailers as we were leaving.  Would have like to have seen some of that but had to get home.
