Why is the dealer so much more expensive?

I was gonna order some Mopar 6.1 header gaskets to change out after I wrap the headers, but the dealer was charger 37 dollars for each one, I looked online on Maryland speed and theirs are 36$ for both! What gives??

My guess is Maryland Speed is just an office with 2 people running it, I truly have no idea if that is the case.

The dealer has a giant overhead and has to have significantly more margin to maintain their cost structure.

I'd go with the oem gaskets and bolts. Lots of people report issues with the aftermarket ones. This is not something you want to pay twice for labor.

I have used oem and they are fine. This is what came with the kooks headers and they are absolutely one the best gaskets I have ever used period

Yeah that's what I ordered and used before when I put my headers on. My moose gaskets were on the car for 5 years no issues so I figured just go with them again
