Can a cam be too big?

We've been testing LuvMyRT's new setup.....and it's not going as fast as we think it should.  He found some adjustments needed since this video, but can a cam be too big?

Jay, what converter does he have and what rpm did y'all figure out to launch in??

He just got a new one....some kinda hybrid deal flashes at 3800 part throttle and 4200 full monty.  He pushed RPMs up as far as they'd go at launch before the car started to roll.

Our boy Andy sold me a blower cam with a hi lope and slowed my car down and mike (Ost) couldn’t tune it after hand fulls of revisions. I had tsp take it out and I put a blower on it. I was always gonna stay n/a but after that experience I just gave up and put the stock cam back in and took everyone’s else lead and out a blower on it
