2011 sxt to 2015 rt

I dont know what happened to what i typed but here it is again.

First let me start by saying i am an auto tech. I have the skills, experience, and tools to be able to make the swap.

I purchased a 2011 dodge challenger that was wrecked. I intend to build the way i want it. I replaced the body panels with used panels except for the hood. It is a 2019 redeye hood from dodge. Used new aftermarket bumper cover from Duraflex i wouldnt recommend them at all. Hard to fit and get right. Headlights and tail lights are aftermarket with sequential turn signals. I wanted a 6 speed and a 440 is in the cars future running factory fuel injection.  So i hunted down an. 2015 r/t from an auction. Intake and throttle body was busted. Car had 25k miles. I purchased a Holley intake and a 95mm throttle body. Pics show what it takes to fit the intake to the motor. I stripped the sxt and the r/t. These cars are built for a standard transmissions. If you look at the pics you can see 3 pedals and an automatic shifter. I switched everything including harness, diff and trans. Hardest part was modifing the sub frame to accept the new rack and pinion steering assembly. There was one hole i had to drill out on driver rear wheel well. I purchased the r/t with no key and reprogrammed a used key to start it. Some of the wiring was damaged on abs and tb so replacements were soldered in and shrink wrap was used for wiring. Hardest was finding a new tb plug. The r/t was struck by lightning while it was on my truck. Did serious damage to the fuse box unfortunately. Made more to be fixed. I made a hybrid of the ac system. Part '11 and part '15. Replaced the dash with a new one and installed it into the '11. Same with door panels. I switched everything salvageable off the '15.

Holley didnt do theyre homework on the intake. It requires modifications to make it work. Im sure they get a lot of returns because of this. I mated a 95mm tb to it. I also installed long tube headers. I mated them to Borla s type exhaust.  The cold air intake was purchased from mopar and modified to be a ram air set up full functioning with the hood.  The r/t interior was cloth and i wanted leather. Found a guy selling the original seat covers out of a hellcat and bought them. I stripped the seats to the foam and installed the leather covers. So i currently have a 2011 sxt with a 2015 r/t car. Any questions, just ask.

I like a t-handle shifter over a ball. Donor car had an aftermarket shift extension and ball. Never seen the ball was gone along with the key. So i purchased a t handle and modified the extension. Drilled the handle out and rethreaded it to 1/2 inch by 20. Ground the aluminum extension down and rethreaded it to the same. Heres a pic of how it looks.

Also bought a 90° elbow thats 4inches on one side and 3.5 on the other end to allow for the cold air intake pipe.
