Lots of carnage and some fast vehicles. malfunctions all blamed on converters. Sounds like bullshit or the worst run of converters ever if even all the same.

 

That blue bee runs and it doesn't have conveter problems. But others all limping or breaking.

 

Read the jeep guy who lost wheel broke a wheel bolt/stud and just replaced the one stud and ran again. Fucking idiot. believe he is same asshole who was giving others grief about safety, something with cages and seats months ago on this site. What a fucking idiot. break one wheel stud on street vehicle and you just replace one? too cheap or too stoopid? they are all 5 in a circle, concentric spacing ='s same shearing force. others probably microfractured and subject to immiment failure. so don't replace all 5 or even all ten and bet with your life or others that "its just a bad one in the bunch, the other 9 should have no problem" ? owes apology to guy in other lane in my op. Wouldn't give a shit or post, but for guy who blabs about safety the way he did, he has hell of nerve replacing 1 broke stud. should have bought 10 and done all 10 or stayed in the stands and held a camera or beer or hot dog.

 

thumbs up to 8 sec vehicle. that's getting it, and holding it together. at least now have 8 sec mopar to point to. safe racing, watch for jeep with old studs, wheel may pass him up. on avoidable break that shows negligenc and poor though, yes you bet I will make fun.

Funny that track eyes say you only broke one and replaced one didn't they. You gonna lie about that after the fact ? Even so, your wrench effort was obviously deficient and a danger to the other racer. Just watch dont' fix and end up with wheel passing you down the track. Since magically, you're the only pumpkin head who broke all five twice and got passed by your own wheel, with a straight fucking face, yet blu charger runs 8.9s spraying the centri unit. their studs didn't break. That Bill jeep didn't break, at least at the hub. Don't blame the horses, blame the owner and the set up because wrench was last thing to touch them. Is spacing on race wheels causing damage to the studs? CCWs causing this? How fucking poorly did you wrench on the "second set of five" that they all broke at the same time AGAIN? if new then how did they all fall out? Blame the first set on whatever, but you own the second set, You own them. Exactly what potion of incompetence did you swallow to make the same break occure twice, in a row? with other racers cuttiing 1.4s, how do your studs fall out, but wheel didn't fail first time but just happened second time. so you broke all five as pictured but wheel stayed on. really?.. 8 out of 10 times I'd just laugh and read and not type this but you were a royal asshole about safety a few months ago with some other newbie on this forum, weren't you. I searched and read it for the sake of calling your smug ass out. and then you do this. You've got fucking nerve. This rant is the follow up? My Son and I watched his Jeep break the studs..And You know what? He saved the Car..

No Crash, No 3 wheel roll into the wall.

It's racing, sh** happens.

 

If you race, and you were there, then you have a right to Voice your View..otherwise, remain silent..

It would be real easy to sling dope and bad mouth your diatribe, but really, when its all said and done, BRB didn't taste Concrete.

Ok back to the Racing-GOAL- FASTEST 2011 N/A MOPAR 11 Charger R/T

Got off the plan from the U.A.E. on Monday,

picked up The M11 from ARRINGTON, made it home 2330. Tuesday, Had MAJOR dental Surgery,

Picked up fuel, safety check on Car-

Wednesday Dont friggin remember ( painkillers and Johnny Walker BLACK)

Thursday, Final checks, DR's fitted,(THANK YOU STARR MOTORS, Joe rocks.....)

Friday

OK< So I watch as my Wife gets in an accident on the way to VMP, In my M11( I was driving the truck with the spares, wont have the trailer until Jan))...seeing red is not an adequate description of what I was feeling..

Roll back tow to Starr Motors @ 0845

Joe And I thrash, Replace lower Strut bar, torsion bar,Right Rear..bang out crash bar/bumper, realign facia, and pan...

Readjust, Duct tape, LOTS OF GORILLA TAPE..

4 wheel alignment, final retorque, re adjust on the suspension, triple checked.

test drive, leave for VMP 1145..

 

Arrive- cant race,(1hr earlier and I could have qualified) But FlyByU lets me in on the TnT for cheap..

end?? Nope

best run of the day,

 

12.71 @ 107.87, 60 ft- 1.697

 

So, As I know it , the Fastest N/A M11 around, and laughing gas has not even been induced...

sorry Brian love you, but what if it broke off at the 1000' mark or even the 1/8 when you were going a 120mph + with no cage things would not have turned out so good.

I don't agree with the personl attacks, but this is the internet. Free lance is right about the saftey stuff and the second wheel breaking off.

Should have never happened twice.

Thank god Brian is ok and his Jeep lives to figh another day.

I had a great time yesterday and today! Made a few runs, saw a bunch of great cars, and and got to talk with some really great people. I hope to see everyone again next round at VMP.

Brian... Who told you to use those bolts? Put some REAL wheel studs on that beast before you kill yourself!

 

Strange Engineering Axles use screw in studs Eddie, not traditional press fits. Those were the pieces supplied from Strange....

 

Freelance, get the facts straight before you go running your mouth. Brian sheared all 5 lugs on 2 passes back to back. He was trying some new suspension mods that caused the rear axle to hop. There is no way to protect for that. You can't predict it. As for Mike's Bee, it only makes about 3/4 the power as BJBs Jeep on blower only (Mike is only about 750rwhp vs 1000+rwhp for BJB). The rest is made off a progressive nitrous system that comes in over the entire length of the quarter mile. Couple that with a car that weighs 1000lb less and its easy to see its not stressing the rear axle anywhere near as much as Brian's truck.

What a great time. Got to meet and hang out with a bunch of characters and couldn't have felt more welcomed if I wanted to. Saw some amazing things and a bunch of good people come together to race, hang out and help each other out for the most part. Broke my shit...bummer. It'll be stronger in a week or two.
