#462245 Gg's 5.7 Build.

Posted by Speedy on 12 March 2017 - 05:27 PM

VERY nice numbers Greg.  Look at that AFR!  Is that pre cat or post cat?

Congrats, at 600RWHP it should EASILY be a 10.5-10.7 second car at about 127 - 130 MPH based on what Greg and I see at Beech Bend.

So guess you're gonna have to spot me .5 in our race like all the other auto guys do.  That's standard practice you know ;)

Yep gonna stick with the 2 day program again for 2017. We'll have loads of fun run TNT time and I'm likely going to have some additional race classes on Friday just for good measure as well.

#458922 Which Image For The Cf8 Flyer?

Posted by Speedy on 22 November 2016 - 09:58 AM

Not really flyeresque material there, and most folks that get the flyer will have no idea what the car has done.  We need something that really grabs attention.  The four above should work out great.

#457963 Sg Raptor Shift Light Install

Posted by Speedy on 30 October 2016 - 08:29 AM

Finally took time to install the Raptor shift light I picked up back in May.  So far I love it.  When Craig beat me by a tick in his Hellcat Charger at CF7, I was curious where I could improve.  In reviewing data logs I realized I had shifted 500 RPM early on every shift.  I hadn't been used to cars running so close with me historically, and subconsciously I guess I thought grabbing the gear sooner would give an advantage.  in the end it cost me a little over a 10th from what I normally run.  Now with this installed I can hit the shifts just right, and it also includes the launch RPM feature as well, so it basically lights up at a user programmable launch RPM letting you know your on the mark without having to stare at the gauges.  This will allow me to hit the light better as well since I can focus on the tree.

Enjoy the time while you can.  We've been reminded too often of late just how short life really is.

#456183 Which Shift Light??

Posted by Speedy on 11 September 2016 - 06:42 PM

Well, looked at the dash again, and at least in my 2009 R/T that area to the right of the tach isn't viable.  There's just not enough room to squeeze the light in there between the cluster and the metal backing plate.

I'll be using the pillar pod.  If you don't have one of those, the a/c vent would be my 2nd choice.

#456049 Curiosity Question: O2 Sensor Pre Vs. Post Cat

Posted by Speedy on 09 September 2016 - 11:02 AM

What Erik said.

Furthermore, the system CONSTANTLY adjusts.  It will never just be dead nuts 14.7 for any real length of time on these cars.  I've never seen it set rock steady on any car for that matter.
