#461921 Twin Turbo Rebuild Part Something Or Other...

Posted by R/TWildChild on 02 March 2017 - 11:07 AM

That reaction of .007 tho...

Shoot ide say with just the bead locks to prevent that 2" tire rotation (per pass) you can shave .073 for a high 8.69. I have faith in that car right there [emoji1431]☀️.

Coming from curious, what is the tire pressure you are finding works best for your set up?

None the less, badass car and badass times. Good shit Sam.

#458057 Wtb 274 Comp Cam

Posted by R/TWildChild on 31 October 2016 - 08:13 PM

Anytime, and yeah I've been told the same previously that its to big blah blah blah, but it's always followed up w spec'ing out a custom cam through a shop that is giving that advice [emoji19] vs. even offering a 270. Can only go by what I've experienced and tested against a buddy that has the same N/A mods except a 270 not 274.

No dyno sheets of AJ's tune yet. Gotta finish up my business trip in Vegas, get back and install my transmission. I know I've posted dyno sheets up (of improper tuned, but still good power) plenty of times for people questioning the same as you, especially on that wack ass challengertalk site. It's almost how some were so stuck on saying a 392 couldn't and would NEVER touch 500rwhp on stock heads, just never was stuck on other people's talk vs. what I wanted to try regardless of what was said and it's worked good for me finally w the right tuning....I'll see if I can find some time to search for em. If not, I'll have to wait for the dyno that will show N/A and the 150 direct port shot+274 cam.

This 274 cam tuning on this 392 '15 is pretty interesting. Seems to be under the same concept of, it's all in the tuning but won't catch me saying it's to big or to much cam [emoji15]. lol.

#432056 Who To Trust With Your Build

Posted by R/TWildChild on 17 July 2015 - 06:35 AM

Now this post is actually funny because the DRIVER error you refer to must then fall on Tim's shoulders because he was the driver.

BTW: ANYTIME you would like to put your car where your mouth is I'd be more than willing to race you for say $1000 or titles if you prefer. To have your NHRA license that a few of us do and have attending and passing the BEST drag racing training school in the country (Frank Hawley) I would say that "Driver's Error" is NOT even a consideration for why the car does not do what I paid someone to do. Again I've just called you out for a $1000 drag race in your car against mine so are you man enough to take the challenge or are you simply another keyboard cowboy?

Ok, $1000 it is. As long as you meet me in Texas at Royal Purple Raceway and negotiations are made to compensate for your fast car against my slow car. Nothing but driver skills will be put up against each other not just your money and mouth; so YES I would love to race YOU and put your racing skills learned in a class to the test ...or you going to let someone else race your car? Street or track? and ONLY if you can show that you have a 9 sec car, so I guess I'll be waiting on you. lol....Ain't got time to be wasting so don't give me this, ok in 6months to a year crap

Out of respect, you should have had the one on one first before ranting. It would bring more light to the situation and put you more in a good standing in this thread.

Good luck!

#430758 Looks Like I Might Be Next...

Posted by R/TWildChild on 03 July 2015 - 06:39 AM

Gambit is a tool but you come across as a know it all prick quite often over on CT. Do you still believe that 12.0 - 13.5 a/f is on point with a stock supercharged 5.7... and if you were at 16.0 you be getting close to being too lean... lol

Haha I can see that. The low-mid range numbers are better than touching 16.0 a/f ratio during WOT.

Of course it's all IMO. Take an opinion for what it is, it's your decision to make it truth or not. But you ask though, I'm gonna say. Not to try n piss anyone off. And if someone does, then it's all fun to me at that point. :)

#430687 5.7 Tuning Issues

Posted by R/TWildChild on 02 July 2015 - 10:58 AM

i thought i had a proper tuner. How does one know who is a proper tuner until after they pay many dollars to find out?

Johan really isn't the greatest IMO for tuning aggressive mods. Get with Josh@HHP; AJ HemiTuner; or Mike@OST

#430509 Assistance Please: Nitrous Systems For 14' Challenger 5.7 Hemi

Posted by R/TWildChild on 29 June 2015 - 11:46 PM

1. Looks better than a single bottle in a trunk. lol.
2. Convenience. Extra nitrous life at the track without having to change out bottles.

Both lines from each bottle feed into a Y adapter which flow into a single nitrous braided line, come to another Y connector at the front of car/engine bay then splits into another two single braided lines which feed into the two separate nitrous outlet bar brackets on the manifold.

#411291 Rxt Mcleod & Fidanza Flywheel Upgrade

Posted by R/TWildChild on 07 January 2015 - 11:30 AM

Parts including one additional piece has been delivered. Going into my parts corner now until time is allotted to put parts on. Probably buy a few more parts for good measure/build.

Thinking front strut tower brace, rear shock tower brace and welded matrix subframe connectors. Hopefully stiffen up the launch a bit and get a little bit more power from beginning.

Please still feel free to give any input.

#409971 Rxt Mcleod & Fidanza Flywheel Upgrade

Posted by R/TWildChild on 25 December 2014 - 09:22 PM

Damn, I wonder if anyone/company is looking into an exact fitting to stock without the modifications that yall had to do to get it on.

Either way thanks to those with the input and info, at least I will have a better picture and be prepared for what may come with the aftermarket BH install.

Hope yall had a good Christmas. Got surprised with a order confirmation page for a Barton shifter.

Don't really like the hurst, a little sloppy. I had bought the G&K upgrade right before the guy selling em stopped, but got screwed by this mechanic when I had the cam installed for my challenger.

Got screwed outta parts paid for my f150 and claimed he lost the parts for the hurst G&K upgrade in my challenger. Wish I would have gotten to feel the hurst with this upgrade, heard really good things about it...
