Good to have you two here. OK...so I get what Brian's up to. Did Jessika bail with you or is she still working for Magnuson...tell us Jessika. Great to have you both here regardless. You've always been great with me/us and it's been much appreciated
I did research on nitrous and a wand/spayer inside the blower manifold. Was discussing this with Nitrous Outlet that are a pretty incredible outfit a few hours from me. There was not enough space in the manifold for a wand that would distribute the spray evenly unless a spacer was added (imagine a billet spacer between the blower and the tub...this is for the benefit of the forum not you two...). Obviously it would have to be a high quality piece to maintain integrity/pressure/proper fitment. Then the question I didn't ask about was space between the blower and the hood. I did run into a guy at the Texas Mile out of Austin that was looking to do something similar and actually had a CNC'd piece, but it was focused on cooling...beefier intercooler.
Anyhoo...saw your response to Speedy's meth question. What's your response to spraying a wet shot of nitrous/fuel ahead of the blower? Lots of folks doing this today in LS's.
Great thread, Phil.

My focus will be on forced induction, and more specifically utilizing the Magnuson Supercharger. I still have strong ties to Magnuson, after 12 years (over 7 employed by them) I have allot of friends and love for the company, the product, and the people. My attention will be 100% focused on grassroots support, quality service, and passing my experience and knowledge onto others.
I am not here to argue who has the better supercharger, I am here to support those that are making or have already made that decision We work closely with most of the other vendors, it is not our goal to gain sales by discounting, it is our goal to provide the service and support you expect when you purchase a supercharger from us.
If any of you are interested feel free to call 9-6 M-F, we can answer all of your questions! Email is best after hours as that is easier to sneak by my wife

Sam,
People have been spraying nitrous through the blower for years on the lightnings and cobras, in fact Jerry Magnuson runs a Carburated blower on his FORD Flathead. While nitrous is a natural oxidizer, it will take time to have an effect on the blower. Do I suggest it, no....would I do it myself....yes
FYI, the above mentioned statement could be said for meth injection too....although I personally would not run it. One of the biggest issues I have with meth is, you tune for it....if you run out on a wide open throttle pass, you can only guess what is going to happen next....

the n20 is an oxidizer due to it having a much higher concentration of oxygen in it. but how long do you spray for? a quarter miles worth of time isnt that much time so the effect isnt that great.
but i might be concerned about the gas on the coating. it could soften the material and coupled with the heat, could be almost as bad as methanol if the coating (whatever it is) isnt made to withstand it. different materials react differently to different solvents. some react well and dissolve or soften while others dont really do much.

So what is the effect on the coating from the gas?? You'd think they come up with a methanol friendly coating on them seeing as people use it.
