Long story short. I have a 6.1 srt8 2009 challenger. I installed PWR heads, long tubes, corsa exhaust, Pwr blower cam, and v-3 vortech supercharger. Had some trouble with long and short term knock.I was getting 7 short term knock and 4 or 5 long term knock. So I decided to install a new PWR 393 short block, a blower cam for 15 lbs of boost, and upgrade to a YSI super charger. I inspected the old short block and everything looked perfect. After the install I'm still getting the knock. I don't hear any detonation. Where is this knock coming from. I tried to switch the sensors and the knock stayed on sensor 2. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Either something external is making noise or your tuner put in too much or too little fuel or too much timing.

Check to ensure the headers are not contacting any body/suspension components and the tins over the motor mounts and knock sensors are not rattling.

I'm at 5600 feet elevation.  Johan is doing the tune.  Will keep chasing down the knock.

Until Mike@OST had me log knock, no one asked me. Turns out, I had a bunch. I put some MS109 in, still had knock. Got underneath and quickly found the heat shield for my fuel lines had come loose and was hitting the collector. Secured it, no knock ever since.

Get under there and inspect the shit out of it.
