Anyone else having problems with the inner window seals cracking at the driver's and passenger's windows? Both mine are cracked in half, right about half way down the seal.

I took it to the dealership while in Mrytle Beach, they suggested not bothering to replace them yet, as all the vehicles they're replacing them on only crack again within a year. Not wanting some yahoo working on my car, I left them as is... for now.

I think the mistake a lot of us make is thinking the state-appointed shrink is our friend.

Then maybe I'll take it to my local dealership and watch them as they replace them. I just hate letting someone else work on my car. I've had too many, "Oops." while at a dealership, and then they try to deny that they did any damage to the car.

Do you know if they just pull out and pop in, or does the door panel have to come off?

door panel comes off and I think its just stapled on. I'd see if they would give me the pieces for me to on myself. maybe use RTV or gorilla glue to allow for expansion and contraction

Yes they are just stapled on. I replaced the drivers side mine shortly after getting the car. It wasn't cracked but had some weird markings on it that looked like ass when the window was down. The dealer was kind enough to order them for me and exchanged out the damaged one under warranty. Didn't staple it back on as it's a snug fit and can't really go anywhere once the trim panel is back in place.

take it to the dealer, it is covered under warranty, unless you modified it some way.

I bought mine with the driver side like that and I didn't really notice until I took it in for oil change and the dealership pointed it out and said it was a known problem. I had them fix it but now it's worse because the trim piece pops up every time I roll the window down. Guess ill have to take the door apart and try stapling it since its out of warranty now
