1970 Challenger R/t Fuel System

I thought I would ask the question over here.

I have a 70 Challenger( Obvious right) Ok it has a 496 stroker making 630 hp and 620 tq on the fly wheel. N/A motor.

I will run an aeromotive A1000 fuel pump with a regulator at the carb and a return line. Here is the big question... I want to run a stock fuel tank. I have the tank. Brand new clean no fuel. No low sump etc. I want to do everything inside. Baffles inner sump and pump inside. The question is how can I do it. If I weld it, The welding will burn the zinc plating. Fine if I could replate it. Any ideas would sure help. 70....
