I'm going to try and get out to Maple Grove on the 23rd. I have to see what my son would rather do, go racing or to a WWI air show I promised to take him to that day. If I come out I probably won't run so I'll be around to give you a hand if needed. Hoping to make ohio as well.

Ok gonna wait to the 24th
That was a smart decision,
I was wondering how you would get your Trani out.....then ship to " Get Serviced" ship back and hopefully to the right address and not get lost or some other thing happen..........and you get it back in for the 20th.
Wouldn't you want to test it before you go after the Swamp Rat?
Oh Hey John I was hoping you won your bet the other day.....was luck with you?

For things to go perfect is rare.
Freight companies etc..etc.
Lakey's is headed this way though John.

I still vote for John 's SRT5939.....lots less weight and it's usually stinking hot in Ohio.......but then again Lady Lakey may have some magic planned for all of us to see!

I'm removed from voting as they are both friends and customers.
BOTH have a bunch up their sleeves. A BUNCH.
Best of luck to both in beating the Paramount Jeep:)...that said, my 800 lb disadvantage is getting harder and harder to overcome with this group.

Dam Bill you still weigh 5000lbs? Thought you would be around 4400 with the transfer case out.
I weigh 4165 at least I did at VMP.
I hoping to get down to around 3700, 3800 with the doors and engine swap.
It's all about the weight now at these power levels.
on another note I have the trans schuled to be picked up Tuesday the 25th

...I wish the Pig weighed 3700!
Stupid deal at Pettys garage, they installed a thick wall cage. Didn't think weight mattered.
I did take one door panel off and the window motor. A whopping 10 lbs. Gave up on the weight savings. Damn Pig.
Good deal on the tranny...best of luck at your event:)
