Im thinking about selling the challenger guys. Heard autos were faster, and I wanna go fast...

Its a 2010 r/t classic, pcp, 6 speed, 3.92, 17xxx Miles. Long tubes, catless mids, 180 Tstat, you know the usual junk. Well maintained. Would come tuned with a predator.  What Im wondering is what is a fair asking price I should look for IF I do decide to sell it?

The reason I would sell it is cause of this furlough, starting next month. I just dont wanna have to dip into any savings, so I figure maybe I could sell the r/t, save up and get a srt later!

Anyway what do you guys think? Theres pics of it on my profile page if ya wanna look.

If you need fast money, drop by your CarMax.  It won't be a retail/private party value, but they seem to offer more reasonable numbers than most dealerships.  Best part is you don't have to listen to their fucken spill.  Literally, you can walk in and tell them you are interested in selling the car and 30 minutes later you will have a piece of paper stating what they will give you.  It's good for a week.  No obligation to buy their other crap.

Did this a few times and came out good because I was rushed.  Obviously waiting, and selling privately will yield higher amounts.  Depending what your payments are, waiting too long could eat away all the extra you get from a private sell.

I would strip the parts and sell privately.  Put stock back on.  You will be lucky to get 50 cents on the dollar.  Maybe 0 cents on the dollar, especially @ CarMax or another car dealer.

FYI...KBB is saying $25.5 to $29k for private party, depending on condition.  Might be higher/lower for your location & specific options.  I normally check KBB, NADA and Edmunds and then also AutoTrader to see what stuff is actually selling for in my area.

I wouldn't sell mine for $17,500.  Before you do that, go to CarMax and get an offer.  I got one 6+ months ago and I have a 2010 RT w/ 6-speed, fairly plain.  They offered right at $22k for it.

I didn't take their offer as I was just curious.  But I used them for another vehicle, and it's super easy.  Once you accept their offer, it takes about 30-45 minutes to get all the formal paper work done and you walk out with a check.  Absolutely NO obligation to buy one of their vehicles.

That is the quick way.  Like I said earlier, you may be able to squeeze a few more bucks out selling privately.

I sold one to carmax, they give KBB trade in value. Not bad for a car lot, Hell that is all I give people that I buy or take trades from.

Yeah, you give them a good look at the KBB value online then offer 1/3 of that
