don't waste your money on iridiums. buy some NGK copper plugs (I can post the P/N when I get home). you're going to need to be replacing them constantly... when spraying nitrous you burn through plugs. I pay $40 for plugs every other month instead of $160 for iridium plugs... that and iridiums and nitrous don't play together too well...
Ok thanks...yeah i hear the Regular NGK's copper are good to use...

they do not make copper plugs one step colder for the SRT... Your option is brisk or NGK iridiums..
BTW if your tune is up to par there is no reason to burn through plugs using N20.
What are brisk?..who makes them?...can they be used on the street too?

^copper plugs for the 6.1
IIRC the stock 6.1 plugs are at heat range:5 -these copper plugs above are 4
I replace mine frequently mainly because I'm anal that way, and I always want to make sure my car runs correctly; better safe than sorry.
edit* I stand corrected-these are nickel. ![]()
I had a couple long-time nitrous guys tell me to steer clear of iridium plugs because they can get too hot and turn into glow-plugs while using nitrous. Not sure if that's true, but ehh... maybe I'll run home and grab my iridium plugs I used for a week LOLOLOL
That says for a 5.7 ?...does it fit the SRT 6.1 or is there a different part number for them?

shit, I fucking fail, don't listen to anything I say
... I'll have to go pull the part number when I get home. Your best bet would be to contact Nitrous Outlet. They're the pros and will have an answer for you.

here; Anything endorsed by Nitrous Outlet is trustworthy. Looks like you have a few choices. the guys at HHP also know what they're doing.
You just want to make sure you're running 1 step colder. As you can see, these fuckers aren't cheap.
Those are tapered seat so would fit the 6.1 just fine. Now as far as heat range versus stock, been too long to know off hand.
I messaged N2O outlet, because now I am questioning myself
and this was their response (my car is a similar build to yours)
"For your car i would recommends the Briskk RR14S. You don't want an iridium plug because it wont melt down before something goes in the motor. With a copper plug once it gets hot it will burn up before the heat kills the cylinder."

With all due respect..Ive been running NGK iridium's for 7 yrs on various builds. Including my own
NGK 2315 is one step colder
Ngk 6510 is two step colder.
There are no 3 or four step colder NGKS but with big shot you want brisk due to the the recessed tip.. Problem is with N/A car the brisk will foul and the car will run like shit... but it is a must for big spray cars.. remember the hemi didn't come out in 2008
I was the one of the first to run a direct port, I built the second fastest N20 only car next to Fly BYU and my personal car is still one of the top 5 fasted N20 cars.. That I know of .. Lots of blood sweat and tears playing N20 through out the years I wouldn't steer you wrong.. I learned from the best Dave Vasser. Anyways Just a little history so you didn't think I was just copying pasted some BS I read on a forum
Oh Nitrous Outlet For the win! Im actually a distributer for them they are the only N20 kits I sell...
Gerard your spraying a fucking 100 shot.....just use the god damn 2315's! Have you forgotten everything since the last SRT?
