Last night I had the opportunity to have another exotic from RPA (Riggins Performance Automotive) on the dyno. This 1974 Porsche 911 RSR is 1 of 37 factory Porsche 911 race cars built that year. What a wild ride! We had some fuel system issues but the car has been sitting for awhile.

So what do you think a car like this is worth? Watch the video and see

Very cool. I had a Porsche on my lift the other day but it wasn't quite as valuable.

3.0L six, no turbos... 250 at the wheels would be nice for 2200lbs

The guy mentions in the video that the price is at the top of the 6-figure range. Mike smiles and says... hmmm, a million bucks, eh.

The cars are rated at 300hp so Sammy's right about that.

As far the value - Sam - now you need to lay off the hookah dude   - I did a quick search and found one needing restored for just over $500k. Looks like what George from RPA was saying in the vid is right - close to a cool million for one of these - scary huh?

I was on my phone at Chuy's with the family.  Couldn't hear boo.  Yeah, that's scary.  911 prices have been going stupid the last few years.  This is what I would settle for...

a resto for $535k, one original for $742k, and one original for $875k  - so we'll say the car is in the $700k-900k range based on your link - Close enough to too much for me.....

Still way more than your average car and to be honest who cares - it's a 911RSR!

Agreed.  I thought you'd be interested in what a car with a race pedigree might be worth.  The $875K RSR IROC Emerson Fitipaldi car....absolutely bad ass.  Those two vehicles, in the $750-$875K range are all the money.  Heck, one of them took second at Le Mans in its class.

Very cool and its nice to see some Euro trash here....I love the stuff.

There's a bad ass build of a Ferrari F40 on Yellow Bullet where the Carolina shop was asked by the owner to amp up the turbos something fierce...cool as hell.  Glad to see some Euro even in that blender....

Pretty cool Mike. Looks like you get to play with a little bit of everything    Speaking of expensive Porsche's, This one went for more than I would have ever guessed.

I'm guessing someone bought it for it's history if the story about the Roosevelt's is true. They probably just wanted the serial # tags nothing else looks to be salvageable.
