The launch on the dyno was the second run of a charity event where everyone got a dyno pull and a 1/4 mile run.

The dyno pull is real. Dave Katz is the tuner and yes, he used to work with King back in the day. We had 8 cars in that dyno getting ready for Lone Star Moparfest

          That does not look like a time slip you get from being at a track. I have been to a few tracks & the slips you get have RT by reaction time, 60ft beside the 60ft time, 1/8 mile beside 1/8 mile time& etc to the end of the run. That slip only has #s on it. Does not look like a real track time slip to me.

Hell no.....it was the loose nut tuner that kept his foot in it at the line.It was popping and backfiring before he even made one pass. If you had heard that thing you would have had your jaw on the ground wondering why anyone would do that to a fresh motor. I believe that Jeep is STILL sitting at King. They are as bad as RDP.

Eric you are a clown.  I have a shoebox full of 8,9,10 second passes, I know how to get down a track.  Bottom line is shit happens.

 

The "popping and backfiring" you refer to is what a two step sounds like at 10+ lbs of boost and 4500 RPM on a 426 on the footbrake.  But I wouldn't expect you to know that because I was the first one to show you all what that sounds like.

 

The jeep spun through 3rd gear (again, sounds you had ever heard before, so I wouldn't expect you to recognize) then when it finally hooked in 4th it overboosted to well over 30 PSI instantly with the increase in load due to a last minute change that KING (NOT ME) had made to the boost controller plumbing AGAINST my advice (I told him NOT to).  35 PSI didn't agree with the motor.  If Brad hadn't changed the boost controller plumbing at the last minute that truck would still be running today.  Funny how many motors failed that day tuned by others (and at every event) and this is the only one that anyone seems to like to talk about, while the rest get swept under the rug and ignored.  I'm not gonna name who those tuners are because I'm not a shit talker and I understand as friend in the business that shit happens.  I been doing this shit for 10 years and you can only find one example to hate on, that should tell everyone something.

 

I climbed over to the other side of the wall for safety.  The truck was ON FIRE.  Have you ever been in a vehicle on fire?  It has nothing to do with thinking it was going explode like a bomb or anything.  It was SAFETY.

 

Eric the last time you won a race was when I tuned your car 6 years ago so I don't want to hear any more of your smear campaign bullshit.  It's really pathetic that you guys have to be such trolls to get your buddies business.  You don't want me to tune your shit?  fine, take it else where, I don't want your business anyways.  But don't bad mouth me for no reason just to try to make your buddies look good, that's scum level.  I'm not saying whoever you go to now sucks or anything, but I get my customers by doing honest good work.  If they are good I'm sure they do too.  And I'd say it's working quite well considering I just moved into a bigger shop and bought a new dyno.

 

I don't get on the forums, I don't talk shit about anyone, or to anyone.  Hell Erik I've sent customers your way and you still repay me by talking shit about me just because you can't come up with a better way to help your buddies get business.  While you all are trolling I'm building and tuning cars.  I go to work every day and build and tune badass cars and mind my own business and let you all play your shit talk games amongst yourselves.  But you bring me up on here I for damn sure am gonna defend myself.  So don't even try to call me a shit talker for defending myself like I know you all will.

 

For anyone else that needs clarification, I AM NOT NOR EVER WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF KING MOTORSPORTS.  I run my OWN successful business, where King would outsource tuning and tech support to from time to time.  King Motorsports was my customer, and HIS customers got what HE paid for.  So for those unhappy with King, there is your explanation.  Can't finish a job for someone that owes you thousands of dollars.  But that's just the tip of the iceburg of another clusterfuck story for another time.

 

That's the story no bullshit.  Anyone wants or needs any clarifcation or more info, feel free to e-mail me, call me, message me on facebook, whatever, I don't have time for this drama, I'm signing out.  I have a car on the dyno I need to finish tuning.  Apparently even though I suck at my job according to you all somehow I'm so backed up with work I have to work new year's eve to keep my schedule under control.
