Since getting the Ram back from the body shop, I am getting this code constant, After awhile the ESP light will light as well, and I got one error on the brake controller. The remote start is also inop. The body guy will get it straight (offered to come get it to get it right), but if it's something simple I would rather correct it.

Any gurus got any ideas? They did replace the dash wiring harness as the Airbags melted the connectors when they deployed. They tell me that's pretty common. All the other damage was forward of the motor.

What! No one here has any ideas? Man you guys are useless! lol

Actually for some reason the pedal was not hitting the switch. Strange since nothing was replaced down there. Maybe I hit the brake pedal so hard it bent back slightly. My ankle is still sore as hell. I just added a little Humber pad to the pedal plate and all is well!

I didn't even see this thread when you posted it...   I must be going blind.  So the brake switch was dislocated somehow?

You get that code if the brake switch is on all the time.Sometimes they need to be readjusted if they're removed.Remote start won't work if the pcm has a code.

Yes! That's what I found. I just added a stick on pad to the pedal so it made the contact again. I also found that my Predator and Trinity would not clear it (they were not for the Ram so who knows), but it did clear eventually and all is well.

I also found the the remote start did work again once it was corrected, even though the code was not reset. Maybe it just won't work with your foot on the brake.

You're right,it won't work with the brake pedal depressed, hood open and several other reasons. The switch probably got pushed back, the plunger ratchets in and out for adjustment.

Thanks! I'm going to pull the switch out and see if it'll adjust later for now a pad did the trick. The switch is very easy to take out and check as long as you realize to just twist the whole thing.
