AJ had made a reply in an earlier topic about how he has some customers running higher boost on stock bottom ends with no issues.
It got me to thinking; I've personally owned 5 SC'd cars in the last 8 years, including a KB Jeep, several SC'd Challengers (2 Magnacharger, 1 Vortech) and a Magnacharged Camaro.
I've run 8 psi. of boost on all except the Camaro which is at 6 psi.

I guess what I'm getting at is with all of the different combos I've had I've been fortunate so far not to have had any issues.
I credit a lot of that to the tune and some rules that I follow.

Here's some of the things I do that I believe have helped my engines stay whole. Please add yours to them.

1) if my car has traction control I turn it off every start up.
Why? Because most traction controls work by pulling fuel, which can cause a lean condition.
2) I make sure I have a well designed true CAI that actually pulls cold air and not engine heated air.
3) I run one step colder plug
4) I always fill up with at least 93 octane, or if there's an Exxon nearby 94
5) I supplement the octane with Torco, always
6) I make sure to monitor my AFR, and if it's leaner than 11.4 at WOT I lift immediately
7) I typically run a race type BOV, and verify it's working (I've yet to upgrade my current Challenger)
8) I work with good tuners, and never push for more than a conservative tune: I've had great results with AJ, Ted Jannetty and KB.
9) I'm aware of extremes in temperatures and modify my driving to suit. In ther words I don't hammer down in 100 degree or 30 degree weather.
10) I never run when I'm below 1/4 tank of fuel. Too much chance of losing pressure.
What are some of your tips?

Buy a factory Supercharged car. Oh wait, Chrysler does not make one of those. lol

But seriously I think a tune is probably the most important with a good fuel system.

Well I've logged about a whopping 80 miles on my car since the install, I credit my success to my rear view mirror dangling Italian amulet horn! My mamma never let me leave home without it.

You need to get an ivory horn, apparently your red one isn't working well for you.

I put 2 cans in with every full tank. Probably overkill, but hey.
