I was completely convinced that we would see a 600+ HP Hellcat with an 8-speed.
Dissappointed.

I don't think they've announced the Hellcat HP figures yet. That article does talk about the current 6.4 being bumped up to 485 though.

So now the 6.4 is an R/T Scatpak, and the new SRT will be a $70k hellcat.

Hopefully this means the 6.4 blocks will be easier to get than the 6.1 blocks.
So does that mean you would rather build your motors based on a 6.4 rather than a 6.1? Just curious as I thought the 6.1's were easier to mess with since they had no VVT or MDS. Not to mention the little piston, super charger problem that seems to be going around.

Got it, well with trucks now available with a 6.4 that should help with the amount of blocks out there too.

Im not 100% sure the truck 6.4 block is the exact same. I need to look into that. Thats still a limited application also being in the 2500. Most are going to get the diesel but it all adds up and helps I hope.
