Second Gen Hood Hinge Vs First Gen

So, I have this bad idea in my head, and was wondering if the spacing/design/etc is the same between a first gen 300 and second gen 300. Does anyone on this awesome forum know?

 

I would accept measurements from middle of the two holes on the hinge, and distance between inner edges of the two hinges if no one knows.
