x3. I had a lot of trouble with squeaks. I eventually called Magnuson and they asked if I had plastic or metal idlers. I had plastic, they sent metal ones. No more issues. There was no charge for the replacements they sent.

Got pics of the metal pulleys? Mine are still plastic and I'd love to swap them out. Any P/Ns on them?

Well not the belt but from the idlers being misaligned.

They are down at the shop, I will take a pic in the morning and post it - if you don't see them PM me, I'm at the age I tend to forget things.
Here's the pics, the pulley dimensions are on the box. The pulley itself is pretty stout, certainly more robust than the original plastic ones. I do think what J-Z said is correct, it has more to do with the pulley's not being in alignment. The last time I had the issue spent a lot of time making sure the pulleys were lined up right and I haven't had the squeak since and I also got rid of that I called the Magnuson start up growling.

Yep. Growled like it was eating bearings up or something especially on cold start up. It worried the crap out of me for a while. Part of the problem on the install was the idler bracket was pressed against the water temp connection to the point it looked like it would break it. We shimmed it during the install. I decided I had enough of the noise one day so I took the idlers off, took a grinder to the back of the bracket and clearanced it from the temp connection, reinstalled and made new shims so that it all aligned.
Growling gone, squealing gone.
The Magnuson instructions were a little vague on which shims went where, not that it mattered, we had to add some anyway to keep from breaking the temp sensor.

Thanks bud. Mine don't squeel anymore, but I've never liked the plastic pulleys and will swap them out for the metal ones you posted.

Okay I talked to magna they're sending me new metal pulleys for free
Cool deal! I think you'll like the new metal ones a lot better.
Are you suppose to get a Dog Bone on the Arrington kits? Mine never had that.
I will look in my shop at home. Through some confusion ordering some stuff I ended up with two of them. I will look when I get home Thursday night and if I can find the spare one I'll send it to you.

Without it, the pulleys do spread. I had problems keeping a belt on without one at 8psi.

Just got off the phone with Magnuson and they're shipping a new pair of NuLine EP127 pulleys tomorrow.
Great customer service and support, these guys are the best.
J, just call Magnuson, they'll send them to you at no charge.
