Not for nothing i can afford 5 of these bitches but all the hype of a factory s/c car is wearing me out! Don't get me wrong i love mopar 100% but this shit is getting out of control! there are plenty of cars on this forum making crazy hp numbers in stock body form. I personally think if dodge is looking for the attention they should have made a new body (cuda) with the new power! just my opinion.

Despite my post in the thread about the hellcat, I'm not overly fond of it. To me, there is a big difference between just buying horsepower in stock form and making it yourself through careful research. I also dislike the interior. Not saying I wouldn't take one if you wanted to be able to only afford 4 hellcats, at 23 I have plenty of time to regain my dignity

Made in North America, airbags, stereo, Brembos, pushrod V8, 700hp, warranty, choice of an 8-speed auto or 6-speed manual, heated seats, air conditioning, etc., etc.

And you could not build the same car for $65,000. Its more than just a supercharger thrown on top of the motor. The motor is fully forged, bigger axles, bigger brakes, factory engineered cooling, TUNED correctly. Better/upgraded transmissions.

So you guys are sick of hearing about a new mopar that will put Chrysler back on the top of the heap from a factory HP performance standpoint after we have waited over 40 years to regain that postition?  Wow, well I guess you can't please everybody.

Everyone who wanted the first challenger in 08 paid out the ass for it! now what? Had fiat made the nastiest car in a new body factory built they would have my money! S/c the challenger is not the money maker or the game changer. Look at the mustang different hp levels same body. I think we need something beyond this. I guess time will tell.

Exactly, I want to see what these cars will do in the real world and find out how easy they are to modify and gain horsepower. I want to know what kind of performance can be pulled out of one of these cars and I don't think we are going to find that out until they get in the hands of the public.
