Time for a little update and clarification on whats going on here. Some have obviously taken notice that I haven't been around much and there are certainly rumors of us closing up shop. I'm here to say that we are absolutely not closing shop. Its no secret that we are way behind on engine builds. This is due to several factors. At one point, we were 22 engines behind. As of today, we have 9 or 10 left to complete and expect all to be completed and shipped within the next 30 days. We have decided it was best for PWR to step back and focus on completing engines rather than selling engines. That put a financial strain on the company and myself personally, but it was the best thing to do till we caught everyone up. I have taken on a second job that I work from 5pm to 4am Monday through Friday which has made it difficult to reach me since I don't get to sleep till 5am and I wake up around 1030 or 1100. I then have to leave work by 415 to get to my second job. This is temporary and will only last till we are caught back up. We have not been taking many engine orders as that obviously just makes the problem worse. Once all orders are caught up, we will be building up an inventory of 3 to 4 of our most popular combos and will be selling engines that are in stock rather than the 4-8 weeks it normally takes to build an engine. We are still taking orders and selling transmissions, axles, superchargers, camshafts, valvetrain components, cylinder heads, etc. during this period but we are not looking to take on any 6.1 hemi engine builds till we are caught back up. 6.4 engines, eagle engines, and 5.7 engines are not a problem nor are Aluminum blocks. We just dont have enough 6.1 cores to take on more 6.1 orders at this time. I expect this to change within 30 days.

Anyhow, sorry for the long-winded post just figured I would update everyone as best I could. If you have any questions, please email me.

Gotta start somewhere. Just be happy you didn't get the day shift. The day shift hookers are just sad.

good to hear you are focused on doing some "house cleaning".  nothing is tougher, or more stressful, then running a business from behind.  it makes even the "easy" things more difficult.  hope this re-focus has a long term positive effect on the business.  you build a great motor and you are good guy to deal with.  the toughest part will be changing the perception....... but consistent deliveries after you are caught up will go a long way it righting the perception ship.

Andy, in light of the new news about your after hour activities, is there an extra charge to keep your pecker from touching my motor?

Good update Andy. Great to hear.
