Easiest way is to remove the fan relay and put a jumper in. There are many ways to build a system to do it off a switch as well. I bridge into the fan hot lead and build a fused circuit through a separate relay to a switch on the dash.

I disconnect the fan connector and use a dedicated battery. Not great for the lanes, but that fan will drain a battery in a hurry.

You need a better battery!!! I have much better luck running stuff from the AGM than the stocker. OEM batteries REALLY suck!!!
I have one of the units from PLCman on LX, but haven't installed it yet.
I have my doubts as to how much difference running the fan makes without the water circulating. I rather just use my fan on the generator, though at the mile, it's hours between runs so not a huge deal.

You can buy a aeroforce gauge it has control feature built in it amongst other things
Just looked that up, that's seems pretty awesome. I may have to jump on it.

Yea the fan mod from Plc is the one I wanted to do originally but he hasn't responded back at all about of it will work on a '14 at all. I agree the only fluid that's going to get cooled is what's in the radiator, but something has to be better than nothing at all. I was shocked how severely heat soak affects this car even with my custom tune and a 180deg thermostat.

I run the intercooler pump wtith the fan on by jumping the relay. I'm sure it helps.

Maybe you should look into snow/meth injection instead of just running a fan on the radiator?

I did this with mine. I just unplugged the fan and cut off the plug on the fans and just ran a ground lead to a near ground and ran a positive wire to a switch I installed into dash, and put a fuse between the switch and the positive end of the battery. Should be pretty easy to run.
Although this will not do you much good unless your water pump is running. I used it to cool the water in my water to air intercooler setup. It wont do you any good on the regular factory water cooling since the water isn't getting any moment while the car is off.
Depending on the fan, the factory battery should also last you a little while its running. I used it at the track while drag racing frequently. Usually 15-30 minutes. but i had gotten quite a bit more time out of it when i left it on by accident.....
I am also going to suggest this fan upgrade if you ware worried about It cooling. This aftermarket direct replacement will add a huge amount of airflow to your cooling setup.

I use the pic mod with a remote on my car. It does only cool the water in the radiator but circulates the next time you start the car.

Engine off . Ignition on .Defroster on . Fan switch on . Cools water in radiator to whatever you set fan temps.. Never had heat soak in over 100 passes. My car very consistent whether my passes are 5 minutes apart or 30 minutes apart .
