I'm debating on r/t versus 6 banger. I test drove the 6 and it was nice and smooth. Real quiet inside and seems to have the room my family could use. I like the look of it and the the features like DVD blu ray, 3rd bench, towing pkg, hid lights, and heated seats front and rear.
Just not sure if I want to get the 6 as it felt a little flat even in auto stick. Any mileage numbers would be welcomed too. That's the only reason I'm considering the 6.
Thanks in advance!

Wife has a 2013 R/T and she loves it. So much better than the 09 Aspen we had. Rides good, less body roll, and the technology is nice. She gets 12 city 14 hiway, but she drives almost as bad as me
It is a dog compared to the 6.1 Jeep. I don't think I could do the V6 even if it got 20 mpg, but that is me.
Forgot to add, pulled a 24' camper with it this summer, it sucked, was all over the road even with stabilizers.

My wife has a 2014 Limited with the V8. Uses it daily and loves it. We originally needed something to tow a 22' boat and with the V8 it was smooth sailing. Pun intended.

2012 R/T and love it. 14 city / 19hwy
pulls my 18' trailer and charger with no issues. installed airbags (helper springs) in the rear to reduce the squat when the trailer is attached. only issue is a somewhat annoying rattle under the rear of the car. almost like the spare tire is loose, but its not. other than that, a great vehicle.

i just bought a used 12 Citadel with the V8. I love the ride and the overall feel of the truck. Feels as good as the 13 Charger Daytona we have. Power is down but I suspect that is due to every vehicle I have except the Durango has a tuner on it. Gas mileage is less than desired but hey its a heavy ass SUV. Going to use the Durango to pull my Charger to the track. First I need to save a few bux to get the trailer now.

I'm feeling it. Thanks for the input guys. Now I just have to convince myself to be comfortable with 14 mpg again. Not sure if I can handle that part of it. Why can't they just put the 6 cylinder diesel in it?

So if I want to buy who should I go to?
My local dealer is a P.O.S.
The dealer I bought the Challenger from was forced to close.. Too bad as I was happy with them.
I'm in Northern New Jersey and want to have the car before the weekend is over.
Thanks,
Matt

If you go to dodge's website you can do a search by mileage and by model and options. Just enter what car you want and how far you're willing to travel for it and it will show you what's available.

or not
thanks but I'm not feeling a long drive home is going to fit this schedule.
I would start creeping on cargurus.com
That site will show you the best deals within whatever you choose for your search area.

well that sucks........
after spending the weekend driving the durango, i really love that vehicle. does so much and does it well when you have a family and 120lb dog in the back. i even discovered what the annoying rattle is and got the parts to remedy. turns out the upper shock mounts are notorious for rattling. easy fix and all is perfect in the world again.

Unless they re-do the jeep to add a third row I'm going to have to look at other brands when the lease is up on the wife's 13' durango. Not having the third row won't work for us.
