running my 392 with drop ins and pushing approx 10.5 Lbs of boost.

Was looking for a little more. Not sure how much more boost I can push the eforce too but curious if a cam/head combo or just ported apaches would make much difference at this point.

Keep in mind its a VVT 392 so I was not a huge fan of a cam swap because I havent heard that man success stories, but if there is something out there please let me know

Right now Im seeing approx 575/585

What about running 14 psi? Pretty sure it's the same as a maggie. Seems 575 is low for 10.5psi. I'm about that on 8psi. Have you hit the the track with it yet?

No, looking for something full time on this car since I dont track it

I tracked it once. Time was nothing spectacular but she hit 119mph. Its full weight, full tank of gas, and also running 22s  I think she went 12.1 @ 119

not looking for a time slip on this car, just power

Oh, BTW car dyno'd stock at 405/427 with a CAI and no tune, just to put the #s in relationship. Was not the same dyno either.... base was @ Diablo, after was at AMP

Also Scott wasn't sure if there was much more to squeeze out of the Eforce since its a smaller blower. Might try a custom lower pulley, but while I have the car worked on I wasnt sure if the heads or heads/cam package might be worth the coin

I say throw a smaller pulley on. Probably need bigger injectors. think the ati dampener. Api drop in fuel pump.retune. You should be mid 625 - 650whp.
Well the e force is a 2.3l right? So is the Magnuson. Guys are making high 600 on the Magnuson. E force should be able to as well right?
Heads/cam I don't think will give much more peak. But might get a much nicer power band.

I have an aftermarket pump, and 80Lb Injectors. I should have everything in place to support around 700RWHP I believe.

I was not sure how much guys with the Maggie were making on the same motor boost and HP wise

And I have heard mix answers to this but I did dyno with the 22s, not that I thought it mattered but some say it does..... just wanted to throw it out there

He has a ATI and 72 lb injectors good to 800 hp.   No lower pulley as I forgot the 392 shares the same belt.  So he could go to a slightly smaller upper  However still has stock rods.. Also has a upgraded pump and fuel line

There you go. Just change the supercharger pulley. I thought I see stock rods good to 700 but now your pushing your limits on it. Could always do the drop in rods😆

Oh thanks for the correct 72Lb....  Not worried about the rods

Also now you gotta worry about the stock Trans at that power level. What about just throwing a 3200 stall in it?

Throw a 2.65 on there and see what happens with what you have.

Not a VVT, but have ported heads and stage 3 cam, the 2.65 pushed 11psi on my car, 630 whp 680 WTq on Amp's dyno.

There doesn't seem to be much sense in going for broke on PSI with this blower, but helping to move air in and out seems to be the better way to go as you start to really spin it.

not really, was curious about a cam/head combo, or just to see if Ported Apaches make a big difference on forced induction

Sorry was too focused on pulley

Well I can tell you this I know it's apples to oranges but I can say that a 392 running built heads at 12 psi was 640/670tq at wheels then a engine running 14 psi with STOCK heads was 590/614tq (different dynos but same s/c)

Don't track the car but want more than 575 dyno horse powers.  Something does not compute.

No matter what you do, I don't think you'll see a 100whp increase from where you are now, and even if you do, you'll be against the limit of the stock rods.

if you want to throw money at the blower, invest in a 90mm TB/ported snout and new pulley... retune. You'll probably see <50whp for about $1k.

edit: if thats possible with eforce.

What to compute, we are all looking for more regardless if its a track car or not. I dont regularly race the car but might take her once a year.  Im looking for a little more up top, a little more gitty up an go on the interstate....

i have a track star, now I want a dyno queen

Anything over 550 hasn't proven very beneficial for me on the street.  That was the tipping point where I can barely hold traction with Nitto Invo tires in a fat 295/35R20 at pretty much any speed.  My car is right about 600RWHP now and if I'm not real careful with the throttle the tires just spin up even at 80MPH if I just go WOT suddenly.

If you're getting hookup with 575RWHP now and think you can use more I need to know what rear tires you're using.  My Invos are shot and I'm in the market.

At the track I have a smaller pulley I've yet to try out, but I run slicks and want all I can get as they hook.
