Yep, there is a slight difference in the pumps. I had one of each here on my desk and compared them. Also compared them to a picture I received from API detailing the difference. When I ordered them from API I was told thre was a difference and it is not much but definitely there is a difference in the bottom configuration.

Here are the pics, the first is of where the part is and the second shows the difference. I guess it is all about how it fits into the bottom of the basket as the pump is a bit longer. You can see the SRT piece is longer and thicker.

Let me do a little checking, seeing the foot piece of the SRT is just a tad bigger, then it goes to figure that the RT pump will fit the SRT, but not the other way around. Everything else is identical. Let me find out.

I found that the baskets are different in the RT vs SRT and the pumps are very specific to the basket.
Still have an RT 700hp pump for sale. Bump to the top!
