Did a Hellcat brake conversion on Matts SRT today.......damn these are big. Didn't realize the Helcat used the same caliper as the WK2 SRT Grand Cherokee........but the floating rotor......damn.....massive.

Not much room for cleaning in there anymore!

I just hope the pads don't dust like the HC's do!

Thanks Erik.

Holy big brakes is right!

Was that a set of take-offs, or purchased somewhere as a kit?

And would they fit an '06 RT with an SRT Brembo swap??

15.4" rotors and 6 pistons.  Should be a nice upgrade.  Any difference in pedal feel?  I recently did the Baers and it's night and day over the stock R/T brakes.  I'm gonna test some 60-0 times on mine hopefully this weekend to compare to stock.  Reading up it seems the Hellcat stops in 109 feet from 60.

IMO the Hellcat brakes are night and day better than my '09 SRT Challenger was.

I can tell you from experience on my 06 when we installed these brakes it was night and day. My first trip out doing bedding about put my through the windshield Thursday I will see how they hold up to track abuse compared to the old 4 Pistons

But why would anyone want to spend all that money on a hellcat when they can build a hell cat beater cheaper from an RT......./sarcasm off.....it's the little differences that make up big gains sometimes.....

Just took a look, price for the Hellcat front brakes isn't as bad as I was expecting.  Brake pads though WOW!
