After months of shopping, and indecision, I've finally bit the bullet and signed my name on the dotted line. Granite Big Horn 4x4... 5.7 VVT, 3.92 gears, 8-speed, NAV....

 

Got to admit...this thing has more buttons and gadgets than I know what to do with...

 

Got to thank Dan (DRP) for clearing the way to home plate and making sure the right people were in place to make it all happen. MAJOR props to ya bud!

Also need to thank all of you that gave me insight and helped along the way. I'm sure your just thrilled that I'll stop asking all the questions. .

First introductions:

 

 

 

Even as I drove it home from the dealership, I started making a mod list... WTF?? !

1) window tint... 

2) running boards

3) Lights...LOTS of lights...but thats just the redneck in me. I'll try to restrain myself.

4) tonneau cover - not sure which one yet.

5) Weathertech mats to keep the horseshit out. 

6)................who knows!

Why a 4x4 in Florida??? Well, the boat ramps here are often covered with slippery sea weed and crap. I've seen too many guys that needed another truck to help pull their shit out of the water. Just a month ago, I watched a truck slide right down the ramp until his boat and trailer started floating. Needed to use the outboard to get the entire rig moving fast enough so momentum would carry it out. .

Looks similar to my Sport 4x4 which is totally decked out.  I'm convinced there is a button to push for a blowjob when the wife isn't around.  

 

I got the same combo....5.7 Hemi / 3.92's / 8-speed....and it is a lethal combo.  I absolutely love it.  And yes, you do get used to having the dial selector on the dash.
