Great run. Do you notice any difference with the 15" wheels and slicks? Are you still driving to the track and changing wheels. Good luck You the Man!

only made 2 passes Bill, but will get out again this week if we get some good weather.
Yes I still drive to the track and change the tires when I get there.

I would like to formally announce that Dennis Walker and his Worlds Quickest Dodge Challenger will be attending the event making exhibition runs throughout the day. His goal is to run low 7's in front of a crowd full of modern HEMI owners and racers.
Thanks Dennis

Thanks to Legmaker Intakes, we have a huge donation from Chris this time. We have the 3 intakes that were supposed to be awarded at the rainout in VA, plus we have 3 more intakes that are part of the ATCO prize pool. You gotta love it, thanks bud.

Just a quick reminder, if you have a trailer, please park in the Movie Theater parking lot one block down from the hotel. The hotel parking lot will not support any trailers at all, its just too tight.

Thanks to Mike Doyle aka GSOChallenger aka GSO Racing
Mike has donated $200 cash to award to the driver with the best reaction time during eliminations for the ATCO event. Rough around the edges but he's a decent dude, lmfao

Tim already said he was done for the year, major damage from the converter breaking a week ago, I am looking forward to seeing the other car and how he has it set up in a bid for sub 8's.

Im not super concerned but I cant say with a 100% certainty that all will be fine. Its a private rental which helps but its one of those questions that if I ask the track to put an answer in writing, it will be what we dont want to hear. So its best to just avoid the subject and go with what has been good in the past and understand that our cars are no where near the "nervous" speeds that would raise too many eyebrows.

Got told to lift or leave on Sat for running 2 9.8 passes back to back. In the past they would let you slide for 3 passes.
I knew I could'nt lift so I just packed it upand rolled. Last thing you want to do is piss the owner off. He's been known to ban people for the season.
Told me I need a Lic. Fire suit, neck brace, shoes, gloves, cage cert.
I'm a regular at the track, they been kicking me out for 2 years now. pretty much on a first name basis at this point.
It's gonna be intresting how they handle the event this year with the jeeps going 9's

Big difference, you were at a public and highly publicized event, this is a private rental so it doesnt have a bunch of eyes on it. Now that being said, its their right to enforce the rules as they see fit Im just hopeful that at $120 a head they will do what they have done for us in the past. Last year they gave warnings also but nobody got booted, just gotta play the game and dont act foolish.
It is what it is, nothing more I can say on the subject and honestly, I dont want to bring any more attention to the subject either.

People get nervous at these events everytime, understood. Hell, no way did we think the NMCA was going to be as cool about our stuff as they were. Not one thing was said and thats a nationally covered series.

well i dont know if i can can get my cage in before atco, i will definitely not go if they are real strict. if they're cool with low 11s or even a high 10 im down. i am used to running at our hillbilly tracks around here they dont give a crap if you run a go kart in the 7s wearing shorts and sandals
