a while back Jack and I went to a benefit poker run for a friend and when we pulled back into the parking area(gravel) I ran over a large chunk of cement sticking out of the ground, could hardly see it till it was too late. well it lifted the car up some when passing over. actually thought that it maybe screwed my exhaust but we couldn't see any damage at the time.
Last Friday when I had my oil changed the tech under the car asked me if I had run over anything. I said no at first then asked to go under in the pit to see it. after looking at the location of the hit then I remembered what had happened. there is a small chunk taken out of the cross member looks like some one bit a piece out of the front part of the support.
in the need now for a new one, just checking anyone here who may have one a swap out on theirs for a better one. I know Buda has one for sale but at $150 more than what I want to fork out right now.

according to my catalog for challenger parts. it has one listed for $16.00

Cross-member, Trans pt#4578062AC $15.50
I imagine that it has gone up some since getting this catalog but any help would be appreciated.

Current list price is $17.35 At that price it wouldn't even be worth the cost of shipping if somebody had one and was willing to give it to you.

I'll check with Eddie and see if thee is one laying around SHR. there have been some take offs for DSLoops. Mine is a six speed so I don't think it'll fit.

If you have to buy one, the Petty's one is about $50 more (less the sales tax) and is a lot nicer than stock. (it's even Petty Blue!)

that petty bar is a little more than I can fork out for now Chuck. buda has one but it needs some modification done to it for the rubber mounts to match up. He wants $150. A stock one will do, if I can find one.
