Really? Phil, that is awesome. You build some more HP into that engine, you could be in the 10s.

Phil, looked over your log more closely here at home. You were making 9psi of boost with that pulley.

Magnacharger box tunes are pretty aggressive on the timing, but rich on the AFR. I can see what's being "called" in the data log for AFR, but without a wide band we don't know what it actually was.

With making 9psi and the timing I'm seeing in this log, I'd not run that pulley hard without race fuel in the tank. You'll need to get nearly all the 93 out of there so as not to dilute the 109.

No kidding Phil! Me and Greg were talking about that on the drive home lol We both said we keep expecting your car to take off and leave the rear end at the light hahaha.

You're getting the most out of your setup though. I drive mine too much to go to 90/10s and 50/50 shocks and all that, but that's the business to getting that launch down.

Yeah I need to catch up on some A/F monitoring this winter. Great video, I did not realize it was pulling the wheels.

That is why I did not mess around and changed the rear end. I knew the way I launch a stick car I was living on borrowed time with a stock rear end. But if you do not launch them hard they just will not be consistant.

This is what happens when you are able to lauch a 6spd car like it should. Very impressive phil, the autos run better times but not equal mph. mph equals power.

The best thing about that video is that the left tire pulled even more, I would like to see that angle, still very impressive

I am not all that sure the autos run better times? The closest stock block auto to me is Bkirk he is running 11.27s with nitrous, magnacharger and a gear. I think when we see these stick guys get their cars set up right we will see similar times, Sam is capable of doing it but he is limited on what he can do and keep his car usuable for the TX mile. I do not think we have seen any stick guys commited to what it takes to make a stick car competitive.

nice going Phil, looks sick hanging the the wheels with that RT sticker on the side of it, I guess we'll see how good that 8.8 really is with the way you launch that car.

Thanks John, you said one of these things should be good for 11s when I bought it.I guess it takes the right combo to do it. I hope it holds up, I paid more for it than any dana 60 I have ever used.

Great job at the track yesterday. Reminded me of old school racing where every body could launch there cars the way you do & parts not fly all over the track. You are set up for lots more HP in the future. Enjoyed hanging out at the track with you & J these last few weeks. Cannot wait for spring. You should think about going to Fla. in Feb. As consistant as you run you would do very well.
