Wtb. Clutch Alignment Tool For Challenger

need the clutch alignment tool for our 6 speeds... my clutch didnt come with one, and no one around here has the one with the right spline.

Iron... possible to make/machine one?

I used an old broomstick on my 73 340 Roadrunner when I did clutch and flywheel. It worked! Honest! Took a few tries but got the 833 to mate with the clutch.

Just throwing anything out there... see if it will stick... you know.

kind of hard Steve, since its a twin plate i have to make sure the splines are aligned as well as the plates. so i need a splined tool.

Ahhhh... I see.... my RR clutch was single plate. Anyone got a trashed gearbox? Use the old input shaft as the tool?

if you happen to know somebody at your local Mopar service dept, maybe they will let you use one for some sort of temp orary collatoral. That is where we got a pilot from to reinstall trans on mine. I think my boyz here at home would lend it also in a pinch, no harm to ask. Wonder what they cost, probably a a kings ransom. good luck
