Well instead of adding to my original thread, I thought I'd start another thread on phase 2 of my build.!

Now that I'm getting used to the car, I can see that the car has the potential to hit a solid 10.80-10.90. So with that said.... It's time to start getting all the supporting mods to get her there .


I've been getting better and better at driving the fat stallion, but there's a lot of room for improvement so I'll keep practicing.

The first thing I started off with was a line lock and a hop not complete kit( thanks to cf3) . Which helped me stay a consistent 11.59-11.63. And my mph is getting better with a consistent 125-128

The next batch of upgrades will be a set of Hoosier slicks and a hurst short shifter.

I'm still staying away from the giggle juice as I think I can get there without it.


Next mods after this might be suspension, but I really don't want to go that far.

for the slicks you will need the front skinnies to keep it stable. and then pull the front sway bar.

Good luck, M. I don't think you'll need the gas to hit 10's. Hell. I didn't and that's with the weight of a 6pt bar and subframe connectors, oversized radiator and heat exchanger with all the add'l fluid weight and fans, a road race suspension....blah, blah, blah. My car barely squats so you should have a leg up in that regard, especially if you pull the front sway bar like someone we know did

Catch up already so I can get motivated after the TX Mile to chase ya...

The weather's gonna be too hot down here to make it happen until the fall I'm thinking, but you should be getting some nice air up there I'd guess?

I think you're gonna like the slicks. I made 3 passes and NO DRAMA. I'd been hopping on the DRs all day until I put those slicks on.

our weathers been very cool up here. helps with the blower.... but doesnt help traction.



only problem we have here as well is the headwinds.


yeah im kind of excited to try out the slicks. maybe get my 60' down a tad.
