Engine Half Covers

I have a set of 392 half covers and am looking at a set of custom inserts to replace the 392 Hemi... Here is a proto types.




I am leaning towards the Challenger R/T version with a small change to increase the size of the 345 Hemi and change the colr from red to Hemi orange.

I really like the way these look, much better than the engine cover. I did mine using the raised 345 badge, unfortunately they don't fit anymore with the SC.

I wouldn't do this unless I added the 6.1 intake manifold. I like keeping the plastic intake covered except at the track.

Yeah

Using a dremel got me most of the way, then hand sanded. I did paint the area flat black before I applied the badges.

They are stock MOPAR 392 Half covers.

I have the old 6.1 covers on mine, had to trim them pretty good so they would fit with the shaker hood scoop.
