There is a difference between someone else running your car and that fact is clear up front vs either clamming you drove it or being silent on who drove it and let others assume you drove it. JMO

Scenario two, someone else drives your car and you either take credit for their run or you stay silent on who drove the car

That's what I did at CF3 when I let Joe Agent drive my car. His 11.627 (racing Speedy) was posted on dragtimes.com listing him as the driver of my car. My PB of 11.81 is listed as a completely separate entry. Taking credit for someone else's time driving your car is about as unethical as you can get.
