I don't know what you call this part, but it's the rubber boot that goes from the throttle body to the CAI. Magnuson sends one with their supercharger that works with the stock air box, but really doesn't fit right with my CAI.

Does someone know of a source to buy these? I've seen it posted before, but I can't find it. I have a intake tube from a SRT8 airbox and it measures about 3 1/2" on the throttle body side and about 4 1/2" on the air box side.

They call that a "hump hose" if that helps you with your searches. The links above and you might also look at intakehoses.com or this link to hump hose aisle. Only two things I disliked about the Magnuson was the hump hose connection and the coolant reservoir. After some studying I got both modified.

Don't get stuck on having to have the exact size. You can cut a longer one down using a band clamp and a razor blade. It's how I modified my Mopar CAI to fit my Magnuson.

That's what I'm hoping to do as well. One of the biggest problem with the Magnuson hose is that it's too short. I've checked dimensions and the aftermarket ones are longer.

If you put it in the freezer overnight after it's cut to length you can sand the ends perfectly square.

That's a good tip. The band clamp gets them really good, but around the bolt is tricky.

I received the silicone elbow today and got it installed. It took some head scratching to get it cut right. I had to cut some off of each end and the cuts weren't square with the end of the tube.

Anyway, it seems to work real well. I used the better clamps, so this one won't be coming off.

BTW, siliconeintakes.com did a good job. Quick shipping and everything showed up. I bought the elbow and three clamps from them.

I used some small 7" snips to cut the tube and it worked really well. I used a clamp as a marking guide and made a line with a permanent marker. The snips were nice, because I had to make several cuts to get the angles correct. The throttle body is higher than the CAI, so the cuts weren't square.
