Fukin hammer down!!
!! Thats what I did the first time I went 7's.. I will tell you this Rob, the difference between 124mph in the 1/8 and 145mph in the 1/8 is HUGE.. Gets your attention really quick! The 150 to 175-180mph 1/4 is REALLY interesting on the big end on a small tire. I only run a 29x10.5 and the car has a mind of its own at those speeds. The Challenger is a lot worse about drifting up top then any fast mustang I have ever driven. Its the weight and length that makes it act so funny on the big end. I was use to 2600# mustangs ,when I went 176mph in my 3600# Challenger the big end made me pucker some with the drifting. I got use to it pretty quick, was just a very different experience for me.

The launch that drifted left and missed the wall by a couple feet had the crew puckering pretty good too. Meanwhile Tim just kept pouring it on and drove it back to center track.I know I for one couldn't even fart for about an hour or two after that pass. ![]()

.... " shits facing the wall"
tim " Shit under control..... "
At 170mph your not near the wall for long, it goes by pretty quick! Only time I would have worried is if it suddenly stopped! ![]()
